Alumni Card

Alumni members from the graduate class of 2019 and 2020 have received an alumni card with a photo and your student ID on it upon graduation. Please keep that card and carry it if you need to access the campus or attend any events.

For alumni who applied for membership, if your application is successful, you may collect your alumni card on campus or at alumni events (preferably the next one you attend) from staff of the VSA Alumni Office. For information on accessing the campus, please visit here.

This will be the way forward. The VSA Alumni Office is actively looking into building an application that alumni members can download. It will either be an alumni-focused application or a whole-school VSA application with a dedicated login for alumni members.

The arrangements for now is that upon successful registration, alumni members will receive a confirmation email with a unique 8-digit ID (e.g. 20201234).

You would only have received a life membership card (navy blue in colour) or an associate membership card (burgundy in colour) if you graduated from DP in 2013 or prior to that. This card was issued by the Association but is not recognised by the Academy due to the lack of identifiable information (e.g. a photo of you), or a bar code or QC code that can retrieve such information, hence is deemed as a security concern to access the campus or attend events. As such, the Association has worked closely with the Academy to develop a new membership scheme, in which the Academy's Alumni Office will issue an alumni card for alumni members that will have your name and photo printed on it. The life or associate membership card that you were issued with will not be valid anymore.
